Books I have read..

Since I already talked about Animal, Vegetable, Miracle on here before, i will now finish. It was wonderful. I highly recommend this book, but towards the end the author got a tad bit annoying. However, there are some excellent receipes and if one just googles a, v, m there is a website suppossedly with lots of receipes on it.
The next book i read was a Chuck Palniunk (sp?) book.. I do not recommend so i wont even say anymore than that.
Then i read Goodbye, Columbus by Phillip Roth. Very good. I recommend.
I just finished Killing yourself to live, by chuck klosterman, the same guy who wrote sex, drugs and cocoa puffs. It was an easy read, enjoyable and funny at times but if one had a choice of any book to read, i wouldnot choose this book.
Now i have some new reading material from other volunteers so my time will be better spent.
These are the books i have received in the past week:
-Reading Lolita in Tehran
-A collection of short stories called Family with an interesting cover
-A T.S. Elliot book
-The Brothers K......
-Anna Kar....
-Resurrection by Tolstoy
-a Thomas Merton book
-a Passage to India :) by e.m. forester (which by the way was supposed to be being shipped to the white house...did it come, amy??)...let me know. (you can have it)
-Actually i got so many books i cant even remember them all.
-Dante's inferno

Hmm. I haven't seen the book in the mail yet, but I have been eating your free kashi food samples and using your coupons. They sent some of their new cereal, it was excellent. I hope you don't mind.

What a nice collection of books to choose from! What will you choose next?

Anna Karina and the Brothers Karamazov are really good, that is if you are into Russian Lit.
